head and neck restraint system

Postby jsargent on Tue Oct 20, 2009 2:40 pm

hello everyone. i have been talking to a dealer for safety solutions about maybe getting a deal on a multiple order. wesley ran the hans device this year and i have no complaints with it but after a little research i feel the hybrid r3 from safety solutions is a better option. it handles the side impact a little better. i was looking for some people who might be interested in turning in an order with me so we can get a discount as a club. right now they have a deal going on for the dealers to take an extra $50 off plus he will discount even more for a multiple order. if anybody is interested let me know. they are sending me some literature for us to look at.

Hey folks we checked out all of head and neck restraint systems awhile back after a bad crash in indy and ended up buying a tucker harness from team tech and have used it every time Jaret is in the car without any problems you should check it out. it was just over three hundred when we got it . and we for sure have tested it ! I also like it because it dont count on the seat belts to work it keeps them in place so he dont slip between them in a crash. Anyhow no matter what you get I commend you for putting that on your must have list. GO FAST TURN LEFT and STAY SAFE thats the Jaret James Racing saying!

Ok I just talked to them at Kears and if we can get an order for 10 of them than they will sell them to us for $475 each. The normal list price is $579 so it is not as much off as I hoped for but it does save over $100. This is for the hybrid r3 youth. If we can get an order for 5 then the price would be around $525. I will continue to look for a better price. I know this is a lot of money and probably a bad time of year to try to do it but it could be a good x-mas present for your driver. Ha ha. If we can not get this done in the near future then I will try again in the spring before racing starts next year. Let me know all your thoughts or any prices you guys have seen.
