We are in need of raffle items for the banquet this year. If anyone has any items that they could get to donate would be great. Just let me know what you are bringing. Thanks Kendra

The 685 union hall was already booked for Nov.7. The Kokomo Event Center has a room available for the 7th. The room will seat about 80 people. Cost is $175 plus $30 setup fee for the day. The Event Center is located acrossed highway 31 from our track fuel station. I am going to go check other union hall. Iwill check back here later, Left voice mail with Reva, she has my cell phone #.

The union hall that we had our banquet at in 07 is trying to work us in for Nov. 7th. They said that they would call me tomorrow and let me know for sure. If there is a problem having the banquet there let me know. Will post when I get it confermed.

I knew something like this would happen. I called them and what happened was that they gave the booking over to someone new and didn't let Mr. Walker know and since he was told that he couldn't book it until the 12th, we thought we were safe but in meantime they booked anyways. Just let me know what you find out about the other room asap. My number is 574-727-4710, I did call 685 and the next available date is Nov. 28th. I am sorry that this happened.

Just to let everyone know we will be sending out new invites with correct place on it. If we can not get it that day we may just have to wait and see what is available and go from there. Hopefully tomorrow we will have a definate answer and we will be mailing out new invites. Sorry about everything, and hope I didn't make anyone mad. I know other people have other banquets to go to, could you please let me know when they are so I do not book on the same day. I believe the 14th and the 21st are banquets for some others so we will not use those dates. Probably looking at December around the 12th if can't get anything.
Thanks again and I'm sorry

Just to give everyone an update. I called UAW 292 and they are trying to get a hold of person who reserved that room to make sure that they need it and to see what time they need it. The number they have has been disconnected so they asked me to give them a couple of days to work on that. They really want to help us out to try to have the banquet there. I will give you update as soon as I know. Thank you very much.

The banquet is going to be held at Windfall Community Center on St Rd 213 on November 7th. Time is going to be same appetizers at 5pm, dinner at 6pm and awards at 7pm. The community center is right on St Rd 213 when you get into town. We will be mailing out new invitations tonight and tomorrow so please look for it in the mail. The center is about 10-15 minutes from KQMC. Sorry for any inconvience this may have caused. Thank you Mr. Walker for checking into other places for the banquet this one just fit perfectly for us.

I don't know what to have at the banquet got a couple of options so please let me know what you think and tuesday I will decide. Thank you Kendra
option 1 pizza from pizza king in greentown
option 2 is to have Lance Moreland's mother cater, no different in price, she was going to do roast beef, chicken casserole, pasta salad, some sort of potatoe and veggie, and I was going to do mac and cheese if we dicide to go with her. Please let me know what you want so I can let the appropiate people know what we are doing. Thank you again.

hello this is john and i just wanted to tell you that i do not care what you go with but i am not telling eric at pizza king at the last minute to make us a bunch of pizza. we need to give him enough time to be prepared also. just make up your mind and go with it. i do not care what you do i am just letting you know that i am not calling him at the last minute with a huge order on a saturday evening. i thought all the members already voted for pizza. i am not at all pushing pizza king. i have nothing to gain in that deal. if you want to get it somewhere else then do so. just make a decision and do it. i do not want to come across as being mean but i have already contacted him a couple times because you asked me to. however, i am all for supporting club members and their families. if the morelands want to do it then that is great i will support them. both options sound good and i think most club members would be happy with either. just do it.

Dominoes makes a mean pizza, and they'd probably be able to make them with just a couple hours notice. Just a thought.
